WHERE YOU CAN PARK YOUR CAR IN VENICE
Parking in Venice: The Smartest and Most Convenient Way to Reach Ca’ Sant’Angelo
Unlike most cities, Venice is completely car-free. Cars, motorcycles and buses are not allowed inside the historic centre, making Venice one of the most unique destinations in the world.
If you are travelling by car, the last point you can reach is Piazzale Roma, the gateway to Venice. From there, you will continue on foot or by ACTV vaporetto (water bus) to reach our apartments.
Parking in Piazzale Roma is convenient but also the most expensive option, with daily rates typically around €45 per day (or part of a day), especially during the high season.
For this reason, we recommend a much more economical and stress-free solution.
Ca’ Sant’Angelo has arranged a special agreement with a secure parking facility in Mestre, located only 8 km (5 miles) from Venice. As part of the parking fee, guests benefit from a complimentary shuttle service to and from Piazzale Roma, allowing you to leave your car in complete safety while reaching the historic centre quickly and comfortably.
Once you arrive in Venice, our apartments are easy to reach thanks to their central location, close to the main ACTV vaporetto stops, the Alilaguna airport waterbus, and the private water taxi landing stage. Before your arrival, we will be happy to provide personalised directions and recommend the most convenient route based on where you are travelling from.
Choosing our recommended parking option allows you to save money, avoid city traffic and start enjoying the beauty of Venice from the moment you arrive.
